Description
Quinn and Peterka need to play NHL games, I like Skinner and Peterka on the same line. Moved Cozens to LW he is good to screen the goalie and get rebounds, putting Mittelstadt with two fast wingers. And put Krebs with two shooters he is a good playmaker. 4th line is good defensively and a little physical. Samuelsson maybe my favorite player on the Sabres and he will be with Dahlin. Power with Lyubushkin, if it does not work then switch with Joker. I do not have confidence that Anderson will make it whole year without injuries that is why UPL is on the seen. Hopefully Comrie plays well enough to be the starter. I think Buffalo can be between 87 and 90 points surprising many people.

I think Peterka is 1st call up this year. Asplund needs a bigger role and Hinostroza needs to play. I can see JJ coming up if Quinn is struggling or an injury but I think he starts in Roch

Interesting comments. Why does Hino need to play? Ideally, both JJP and Quinn are better than Hino. Hino is a great 13F.

Why do you think Quinn deserves a spot and JJP does not? It seems you are penciling in Quinn for the NHL and JJP for the AHL.

JJP is the better player right now.

Putting JJP on the top line to begin his NHL career is not a recipe for success. I'd keep Tuch on the top line and put Olofsson with Mitts.

JJP, Krebs and Quinn all have experience together in ROC. They could be the new Vanek, Roy, Pommers line.

I think Quinn is going to get every shot to play in Buff. Peterka goes down because he won’t have to clear waivers. Hino played well and Granato liked how he can play up and down lineup. I can see:

Skin Thom Olof
Aspl Coz Tuch
Krebs Mitts Quinn
Hino Girg Okp
Shea/Bjork for 13
Lines are balanced. You put your two playmakers with a sniper like Quinn. Tuch makes everyone better and helps Coz and Asp play against teams top line that can also contribute offense. I would like to see JJ here but with him able to go down we have too many young kids now here that need to play to see what they are so next offseason we make the moves to push hard for contention.
