Description
Pretty surpriesd not to see Gogolev on the opening night (this is only a projected lineup) so it could change but he had a great camp and Traverse City tourny. Not sure what the plan is for him but he is eating up a SPC (currently at 50/50) so if they hope to sign Knies after his college season is over, going to have to move out a contract. Maybe it's Gogolev

I know they mentioned he struggled last year. The team is deep. He is a scorer, so he would need to be in the top 9. Looking at our top 9, the only guy I don't know much about is Shaw. All the other 8 guys are good depth and had good training camps. I am less sold on SDA though. I am sure he will get in over the course of the first few games!

Outside of when they first brought him in (Gogolev), they’ve never really put him into a position to succeed. Last year he was healthy scratched or playing on the 4th line. They finally sent him to the ECHL where he dominated.

I personally feel like they have dropped the ball with his development. Defensively he still needs work but no denying his offensive skills, I’d personally like to see him on that 2nd line and move Anderson up and Shaw out.

Logan Shaw is just a journeyman AHL guy.

I like a lot of what SDA brings, they don’t have hardly any guys on the roster that can match his transition offence.
