This doesnt really help either team imo. I dont understand why Devils fans dont just rock with the team they have now. You guys have a sick, young roster. You have tons of youth coming up. You have a top 5-7 center on an insanely good deal. Stick with what works then re-evaluate during offseason. No reason to add cap space or blow up the core for no reason. I would get it for Meier maybe, not Reinhart tho. His extra cap isnt worth the upgrade over Sharangovich imo

Sam Reinhart is a significant upgrade by all accounts, and worth the extra cap space. Plus he won’t potentially cost 10 million next year on a QO.
I understand sticking with the plan, but this is an upgrade that works short and long term
