If they can't trade Bo in that they don't get the package they want, they'll most likely sign him by buying out OEL.

To cover the costs of OEL's dead cap, in 2 offseasons from now, at least 13-15 million will come off the books with around 12 million from Pearson, Myers, Nemeth, Dermott (if they won't sign him) and Stillman, alongside the cap going up next season (say 2 million) and it will be more than enough to sign Petey (say he signs for $11.5 million) and cover costs of OEL's buyout dead cap. That way, they'll probably rely more on entry level deal players to ice off their roster.

If the Canucks are lucky to draft 6th, they'll most likely draft Will Smith or Andrew Kristall. I chose Smith since Miller moves to wing and the team lacks center depth
