1- seems like that offer would get beat
2- why isn’t our 1st available?
3- why acquire Ekholm & then waste him on the 3rd pair?

Nashville doesn't need Ekholm and multiple contending teams currently beat out that offer

I invite other teams to beat it without any retention; few if any can




1. perhaps, depends on retention and buyers. Beating a 1st from a year ago, 2 2nds and player isn't exactly a cake walk
2. KA is not going to trade our 1st for a 33 year old Dman; if we had a clinched playoff spot maybe but not in these circumstances
3. We rarely keep the pairs together as the game goes depending on the situation; he'd take Jokiharju's spot more than likely for stints with Power.
