I am happy to see that you have Pouliot on the 3rd line, But I really think he will be a PK forward (1:21/gm PK TOI) before Okposo (0:07/gm PK TOI) will.
So 24 yo Seth Griffith, who has bounced around with 3 organizations is suddenly going to find his MOJO and become a top line RW?
Florida is going to trade a 24 yo Right handed center for a 33 LW and they will do this because we give then a 2nd and retain some of his salary?
BTW why does Buffalo need a R-C? What Buffalo needs is a R-D and has L-D to trade for one.
Other than a trade that will not happen, placing players in unfamiliar roles (Reinhart on LW and Okposo PK), and imagining a career AHL player will suddenly become a top line right winger it is a great post. BTW, Vanek has not signed yet, Pominville is his best friend and they both played 3rd line minutes last year and scored 47 and 48 pts yet Vanek is definitely not coming here?
Why not sign Vanek to play on the 3rd line with Pomenville and Girgensons, place Moulson with his best friend Okposo to play with ROR and leave Eichel with Kane and Reinhart. IMO it is FAR more likely Moulson will score 20 goals next year playing with Okposo all year than it is for Griffith to crack this line up. Lastly, why not sign Gionta for one more year to play on the 4th line with Larsson and Pouliot. That give Buffalo 2 solid checking lines and 2 solid scoring lines.
