Description
PIT and VAN were close on a Miller trade, but VAN couldn't do it without a center coming back because for some reason they don't think they're rebuilding. Caps have a surplus of centers. Relies a lot on Kuz not having VAN on his NTC and willingness of WAS and PIT to help each other out, but solves every team's need, every team could make the money work fairly easily.

To WAS:
Boeser
PIT 23 1st

To VAN:
Kuznetsov
Petterson

To PIT:
Miller

don't know what exactly they're going to do but its going to be something so hilariously stupid that we could never see coming. can't believe they (reportedly) had the chance to get back positive assets for that Miller deal and passed up on it

He's a not a minus asset. Canucks could also just do the JT for pick + Pettersson deal to secure more Petterssons. Then move Boeser for more.

clearly other teams in the league don't view him as a minus asset, but I think that says more about other teams in the league rather than Miller. They also reportedly had the JT for pick + petterson deal on the table and didn't take it

They wouldn't have a centre after Pettersson so I'm thinking that would have been a big issue.
