Staal isn’t going to Philly, since there is almost no chance that he signs outside of Carolina. Carolina also won’t be taking TDA back on, especially to in effect give Philly a refund. Now if Philly wants to pay to take him, Carolina probably listens, but a TDA to Carolina trade doesn’t make sense for the Canes now that they have Burns, have Morrow on the way, and even more so if they end up resigning Ghost.
