The major problem is the forward group, particularly the top 6 wingers, that don't back check worth a damn because they are either lazy or think they are too good to play D. Mika and Trocheck are not the problem. Until Panarin, Kane, Panarin and Kreider decide they have to help the D, they are in trouble, and if they play like that in the playoffs, it's over in short order.

A top 6 not playing the body and doesn't play defensive won't go far in a playoff series. What I am hoping for at this point that Panarin is that bad he waves his NMC. That would give some hope moving forward.

- were are all the 'we must have Kane, Kane will make this team lethal' fans... It is lethal alright. Every time the top 6 is playing we risk losing a game.
