Defence Pairings are Great! How Amazing has Weegar been since joining Andersson, hey!? Hanifin is Good with Tanev, but I believe Hanifin may be expendable now, especially if Kylington returns or we can sign somebody else cheaper, like Erik Gustafsson or we bring up Jeremie Poirier

Not sure Pelletier has done enough to justify being on the Top-Line over Toffoli, Dube or Mangiapane, but my main questions is other than his Chemistry with Backlund (seemingly all Forwards play well with Backlund, hence why we call it the Backlund Bump), why do you have Coleman in the Top-6? He seems like more of a Bottom-6 Guy to me and given the Dube-Kadri-Mang experiment was a fail, Mang-Kadri-Coleman would be much more effective, since Coleman can at least shelter and cover for Kadri * Mang Defensively if/when need be.

How bout this instead:

Dube-(Lindholm/Backlund)-Mangiapane
(I love Dube & Mang together and they get a far more Defensive Centre, Backlund would be good Centreing them too actually, just not Lone Wolf Kadri)

Huberdeau-(Backlund/Lindholm)-Ruzicka
(Huberdeau can set-up Backlund who shelters and shares Face Offs with Ruzicka who has a Beautiful Shot and Back Hand Pass, but needs Talented Wingers and isn't a Checker)

Coleman-Kadri-Toffoli
(Kadri gets Two Shoot First Wingers, one being a Rebound Collecting Sniper and the other being a Banger, Net Crashing, Puck Retriever and is also Very Strong Defensively. Both Coleman & Toffoli have experience taking FaceOffs and Playing Centre as well)

(Pelletier/Ritchie)-Lewis-(Duehr/Ritchie)
(Old Man Lewis can Shelter the Young Guys Defensively, yet has proven he can Still Net Pucks, he just doesn't set them up very well. Pelletier becomes the Set Up Man with Duehr looking for Breakaways or to Crash the Net. Duehr & Lewis are the Checkers whereas Pelletier brings the Energy and Back & Stick Checking like Gaudreau did for us)

In the event we need more Size & Grit, we insert Ritchie for Pelletier, Duehr or Ruzicka. Lucic should be sat out as much as possible, since he's a Defensive Liability

i agree with ur ideas, i think coleman could stay with Backlund since they've been great together, but maybe he can flourish with Naz too. Or could have lindy and backs swapped, ruzy played well with lindy earlier this szn and dube-backs-mang would be so good defensively too

So many good players, the possibilities are endless, but my main thing is either take Kadri off Centre and make him our Matthew Tkachuk replacement OR put Defence and/or Shoot First Two-Way Wingers beside him; like Coleman, Toffoli, Dube or Lewis. Ruzicka, Duehr & Ritchie just aren't Experienced and/or Defensively responsible enough

Huberdeau seemingly connected the best with Backlund, so they just need a Scoring Right Winger and Mang & Dube have amazing Chemistry together, especially on the PK, so figure out a way to put them on a line together; so long as it's not centred by Defensively Weak & Lazy Kadri

Lindholm needs Fast Wingers who will create space for him and can pass, so Dube & Mang should do well with him
