Salary Cap Mode: Basic

-Site doesn't let me do trade so Wiseman to waivers and if healthy to closeout the year I'm being a team calls for Edmundson. Too many defenders in Montreal once healthy except if they're looking to send wifi or Harris back in Laval otherwise one too many guy.
-Buying out Hoffman makes sense cause you end up saving a third of the money/cap hit and it's pretty unlikely that we're finding a trade partner. We could just wait it out but with everyone healthy to start the year if you want spots for RHP, Richard or others you'll have to cut him.
-Guys might find new low on Caufield but taking Boldy, Robertson and Cozens as comparable I can't see him break 7M considering he's lacking a two way game compared to these others.
-Gurianov contract is comparable to Luke Kunin. Lower than his QO but I'm ready to give him a second year at this price.
-Starting the year with a sub 70 million cap hit there could be a cap dump deal à la Steve Mason. Nothing crazy but picking up a small/medium contract to digest from a team maxed out on buyouts or in serious cap crunch for a middle pick and/or a young-ish buried guy.
-Don't think Army moves nor gets bought out, keep him for another and then we'll see. You don't want a bottom six guy to hold a buyout slot for four years and Alzner comes off the check next summer.
