Is it better than Yegor and being able to sign either a solid 3RD (letting nemec slide another year), a better 3C, or a 1B goalie?

probably? I think boqvist is quite a good 3C so we'll likely disagree on that but I personally think Nemec is probably better than any 3RD we'll sign for cheap and short term and there's plenty of money here for a goalie.

You could also play Mercer as 3C (I wouldnt but it's an option) and slide Holtz up and Boqvist down
