Description

Interested to hear thoughts? Apparently Kuznetsov is definitely on the move, and Vegas is always in on big fish in the market. I think Washington will have to retain, but not 50%. They need a LD and the Knights definitely have a surplus. Wondering what thoughts are. I opted to overpay instead of underpay, especially with multiple years of retention.

Kuznetsov was not great this year, and the Capitals don't seem to have a ton of leverage here, especially since so few teams can afford him. What else would you want?

It's possible Lehner doesn't return, in which case they would have the space to afford it. You also accrue cap space throughout the year, as well as Henderson being really close to Vegas, so moving players to and from shouldn't be that big of a challenge. Also, it's Vegas, so someone will probably be on LTIR.
