Description
Keeping the 1st line the same as it finished the season. Hopefully with full health and the chemistry from last year they will produce all year.

2nd line keeps Pasta* on Krejci's right, with Bjork joining straight from camp on his left. This team gives Krecji two speedy skilled wingers who can put the puck in the net.
*I think Pasta signing an identical deal to Marchy is fair given their production, but with the market/cap increase it wouldn't surprise me if he pushes 7mil a year.

3rd line sees JFK take over the full time center duties, with DeBrusk on his left and the legend himself, Jaromir Jagr, is signed to take his right wing.

The 4th line's only change is Czarnik being the center with Moore signing with TOR. Hopefully Czarnik can gel with them as well as Moore did.

I wasn't sure what to do with Vatrano, do I trade him or keep him as depth if one of the young wingers doesn't pan out right away? I think he might end up moved this offseason in a package for a LD, but held on to him here.

Lmk what you guys think. I feel this could be a productive team and with the young guys, fun to watch.

Don't want Jagr back. Connauton isn't a legit top 6 defender. Heinen gets left out in this one in favor of DeBrusk, which I don't think is likely. Seeing how Nash is better defensively and was 49% FO last season and Czarnik was about 43%, I don't see how you have Czarnik getting the call at C.

The overall structure of the team is good, but there were some problems.

I like Jagr, as long as he will play the role he should at his age/skill. He's no longer a full-time top 6, and is an extremely useful PP specialist. If he would be willing to play that role, then I think he could be more helpful than hurtful.

I think Heinen/DeBrusk will end up either on Krecji's left or Bergy's right depending on how camp goes. I brought DeBrusk up in this one as he's more of a pure scorer than Heinen, which is (I think) more helpful to Krecji. Heinen is the better overall prospect I feel, but ultimately I think DeBrusk serves better as Krecji's LW.

Czarnik I brought in at C purely as a quick switch from where Moore was. I think there will be some tinkering with who centers that line throughout the season, and I would be open to Nash centering it all year.

Hopefully we get Pasta at that little. Something tells me it may be at least $6.5M now (because they are taking so much time to get it done).
Not a fan of signing Jagr. Sweeney has said they will infuse youth into the lineup so I would focus on who of the kids goes where!!
Trades are pretty good, although I like McQuaid and Beleskey but man it does free up the cap doesn't it!!!???
Not sold on JFK playing 3rd C without any pro experience. Might see Backes move there, but also is a reason I think they sign Spoons for 1 more year fr JFK to get 1 year in Providence.
They just signed Schaller so he will likely play, in my recent realistic mocks I have Acciari/Nash/Schaller as 4th line

Good mock effort though

I really like this! I think the signings are good and the trades are ok. I loved your reasoning for Bjork on 2nd line LW, I think it is very realistic. Unfortunately, he has no pro experience so it definitely makes me nervous. I would switch DeBrusk and Vatrano. This might change during the year but, for the start, Vatrano needs to be a starter. other than that, great work and with great cap space. Is it realistic though???
