We already know the cap isn't going up by $4 million, though after spending a few minutes on this roster, I can see why people are doing that simply to work with this team. They're in trouble this summer. They need to get out from under the Yamamoto contract, and even though he's been solid-to-good there, Ceci also needs to move, while EDM crosses their fingers that Broberg takes another step or two next year, and Desharnais continues to surprise & impress.

Unless LA completely gives up on Cal Petersen, EDM isn't moving Campbell, and even that trade helps nothing this year.

This isn't pretty. This cap hasn't been managed well and there are no quick fixes.
