Description
Been seeing a lot of people on this site saying that the Bruins are in cap hell, which is not really the case. Two trades and a buyout and the Bruins can ice a pretty good cap compliant roster. Obviously depends on certain signings, but I think these are all pretty fair.

If BOS really wanted to deal Ullmark or Hall, it would be for a package resembling their value. Otherwise they'll just hold on to them if the right deal isn't there.

Also with the OEL buyout news, I remember him only allowing a trade to BOS or VAN. BOS couldn't afford his caphit, so VAN it was. Would be interesting to see if he's open to signing a league min deal for 1 year with BOS this summer.

Because of the cap situation Boston is in, teams aren’t gonna bail them out they will need to pay to unload certain players or move a guy like Hall for a Bjorkstrand type deal or Pacioretty

The two trades I made resemble that though. ANA needs to reach the floor and Vaak has had struggles to stay healthy so his time in the NHL is running out. And Gryz should be fetching a low 2nd or high 3rd + a mid prospect, and this trade is a reflection of under balling Gryz's value to help alleviate cap.

What is Ulmarks value anyway? because to me, hes probably most likely to go in order to bring back Bert or Orlov

Orlov is out of the discussion for returning, there's just no way BOS can afford him without doing major surgery to the roster.

If BOS wants to re-sign Bertuzzi, I would imagine it's Hall being shipped out first before Ullmark. And if that's the case, then other teams will weaponize that and we'll likely see Hall being dealt similarly to what Bjorkstrand got. That's why I believe BOS will just let Bertuzzi walk.

i don't think washington is the right team for gryz but for that price i'm sure someone would take him. if they need to move debrusk or hall though they would certainly be interested
