It's actually not a bad deal considering Granlund can play center. He makes the same as Garland so it's nothing against our cap and all of sudden we have a 3c and a 1st round pick next yr. I would take that deal.

I like the Van deal If the first we give becomes a second. Then it’s fair. Also, UFAs are about 3M In total shy. You left some money on the table so it could work. But I hate our left side defense. It was bad last year and this is better slightly offensively but worse defensively
And smaller. We need a piece back there via UFA or another trade

Granlund is well past his due date.Why would we waste time trading for a guy who cant play to his contract.We have been there already.I would much rather keep the younger Garland with an UP side Granlund is done.Just MY opinion.
