Description

So most are all from the Toronto system. I signed and traded all the players who would have been gone by than for picks only ONLY as I can't predict players coming in. Marleau would prob retire as his contract is all front heavy and would only receive a small portion of the contract last year (it was prob planned that way)

Because Marleau's contract was signed after he was 35, if he retires Leafs would still be on the hook for his full cap! There is only $1.2 owing in his final year and another team looking to get to the cap might have some interest in taking him but he currently has a NMC! He would have to waive!
