Seems about right. I'd personally prefer Hudon on at least the 3rd line. He's a pure offensive player who I doubt will succeed with Shaw and Mitchell. Byron, on the other hand, can thrive on the fourth line (even if he can fly all the way to the first line and still produce). I propose to switch Hudon and Byron's spots.

Some people seem to underappreciate Paul Byron , he might well be canadian best natural rw and with his defensive liability that make him the perfect winger for the 2 cerebral players drouin and galchenyuk . Put Hemsky in front of him would be simply unloyal to the second best scorer of last year . + he can produce along side of plekahole , witch is not an easy task to do . Plekanec will be caught one day because he is selling eggs out there on the ice and have to be careful not to break one of them .

I don't underappreciate Byron. As I said, he's a supremely versatile player, and he will be able to produce regardless of what line you put him on because of the specific sneaky talents he has. Hudon, on the other hand, could possibly put up way more offensive numbers than Byron, but only if he's on the top two lines. He may even match Byron while on the third line. But Byron's defensive acumen is so superior to Hudon's, that he should be trusted with defensive assignments as well on the fourth line (with the opportunity to quickly counter-attack with his speedy breakaways).

Building a hockey team isn't only about putting your best players on higher lines, but also about roles and chemistry.

hudon is speechless while byron spell speed . the guy is top 10 speed in nhl (not to mention a short-handed goal specialist and breakaway machine ) . Give byron PP time like weise use to get and he can reach the 30 goal . byron have won the Q scoring leaders this league have change ... trust me vegas wouldn't have overpass byron in expansion . hudon is an ahler at this point (an elite one) . the guy can make produce plek or protect a drouin-galchy duo . + if gallagher hand is not so great he can spar-plug a pacciopheric line . speak better french than the boss . just take away hemsky from 1st PK replace it by ti-paul and we call it quit ?
