This could be it. Cap crunch nobody wants any of our LHD. We could be looking at a lineup like this with some PTOs added. I’m fine with it. See how we are at the deadline have a lot of guys on 1 year deals we could ship out. Then we have 30 mil in cap space and maybe some kids that surprised us. The bruins will be fine.

Sweeney isn't expecting Bergeron or Krejci to return. So I don't think you will be fine. No top line center is a killer. Probably a hole at a top six wing position. And your bottom defensive pairing and fourth line forwards are mediocre. They very well could have the largest points decline in a single season.

After watching some interviews after the draft, Ryan Nadeau (head of amateur scouting for Bs) said after being asked about not having a first round pick, "there were a couple times throughout the day where we think we might have one, so we had to be prepared."

So this makes me think Don Sweeney his keeping quite a few things close to his vest. I think we will see some moves.

He is definitely working. He’s not pulling a Chuck fletcher making 17 calls and saying well I tried.
