We don't need to spend $ anymore or trade at a cost of futures, I think we are really strong on the wings and if Aman can take that next step we are solid down the middle. Let our assets develop in the AHL and internationally and see what we need come next year when are in a better position to compete for the playoffs.

Sounds a lot like Myers trade is just waiting on either a trade from San Jose or his Bonus to be paid.
Tanner Pearson sounds like he's going to be healthy to start the season so don't count on him being LTIR.

From everything I have read Blueger is a great shutdown C Offense might have a bit more but its nothing special. Pair him up with Pearson and Garland(both are great on the boards) to be your shutdown 4th line that can still be a bit of a threat on Offence.

I liked what I saw from Nils Aman offensively he has good vision and hands for setting up goals. Pair him with Hogz and Podz on sheltered 3rd line minutes against weaker lines of the opposition and see what they can do.

Miller is your shut down line, its what Mikheyev was brought in for and Boeser, for everyone's complaints, reads the ice well and picks off those neutral zone passes quite well. I think this will also work well as Miller is a shoots 1st Center and Boeser has turned into a nice playmaker.

Petey line is how it ended the year, I wouldn't mess with it. Beauvillier looked great on his wing and worse case if you think you want to trade him this will give him his top value, next year you can upgrade another winger in this spot like Hogz or Podz if the take the next step.

On D I think top 4 is pretty strait forward you might put Huggy and Hronek on the same line but I don't think that will be the case. Irwin was brought in to be that reliable 3rd RHD guy, quick look at his stats over 6' over 200 lbs, doesn't take many penalties seems like a good option while our own D develop in the AHL. on 3LHD I think we keep developing our Futures and let Wolanin/Rathbone fight it out unless Hirose or McWard really shine. I would like to see those 2 spend at least another half season in the AHL before coming up as our 3LHD options though.

We have 2 good PK units, Miller/Peterson looked lights out end of last year and Bluegar/Mikheyev as your 2nd pair should line up well. Not having Meyers flopping like a fish behind the goalie instead of clearing out the front of the net in a scramble we prevent about 30 goals against in all situations
