Description
Just an attempt, some of the trade values are probably off but this is how I'd try to fit the leafs under the cap while also upgrading on d. Dumba does the same thing all the other 1 year ufas are doing, betting on himself on a cheaper 1 year deal to get a bigger deal when the cap goes up next year, Sammy deal would end when he's 29, just entering his "prime" so he can get a big contract then. Any other 1 year deal aswell is just players betting on themselves. This is also betting on that Robertson can stay healthy all year, hopefully he can but who knows.

3.
TOR
  1. MacDonald, Jacob
  2. 2025 7th round pick (WSH)

I'm thinking this teams GAA is in the 5s. 4 dmen are suspect defensively, one is turning into sand and Jake McCabe is probably a 4D at this point

First, Vancouver doesn't have the cap space. If Brodie is so good, why did Schenn play top pairing with Reilly instead of him? Why is Toronto looking for top 4 D? No way any team is giving up a 2nd for him, let alone 2nd +
