Description

Only going with the Myers/Labanc rumour.
Imo Myers at the TDL fetches more.

Creates a further winger logjam & looking around the league the flat cap crunch looks to further stagnate trading wingers. It’s looking bleak for hockey fans to see action the trade front. The TDL looks to be a long ways away to see action.

Just cannot see Myers traded given the market is bleak to move wingers with large contracts. A healthy Pearson complicates matters greatly. The right side D is very weak on the 3rd pairing as a result.

DJ has to be a 4th liner & unavailable to have EP’s back.

myers for lebanc isnt even a lateral move. just complicates things more and weakens the D for 1 mil in capspace which cant even be used effectively now

I looked at the Leblanc - Myers trade as a creative way to save by it being a buyout for Leblanc. Myers buyout would not be worth it but Leblanc buyout gives them 4 million in cap space this year. They get dinged 1.8 next year but the trade allows them create so cap space.
That is what my thought was on the move.
