Kasper and Edvinsson start the season in GR but are the 1st call ups in case of injury.

I could see Detroit being sellers at the TDL even if they are in a playoff spot. IF the kids prove themselves ready in GR, I could see Yzerman trading Gostisbehere, Perron, and/or Sprong for picks/prospects and filling those roster spots with Edvinsson, Kasper, Soderblom, and/or Mazur.

—Berggren-Copp-Perron
I expect Copp to bounce back after fully recovering from surgery last year. He and Perron could be great line mates and mentors for Berggren who could be a 25+ goal scorer this year if given the minutes.

Very versatile line made up of responsible players with offensive upside.
—Fabbri-Veleno-Kostin
Could be difficult to play against with Veleno and Kostin. Fabbri offers some offensive punch for a 4th line.
—Walman-Seider
We’ve seen that this works, Seider poised to take another big step.
—Maatta-Gostisbehere
Seems like a good balance of Maatta’s shut down D style and Gostisbehere’s offensive firepower.
—Chiarot-Holl
Too expensive but playing 3rd line minutes, could be a very solid defense first minded pair.
—Husso-Reimer-Lyon
I may be a little too bullish on Husso but I think he can start 45-55 games and be a solid 1G. Reimer and Lyon fight it out in camp for the #2 spot.

Grand Rapids:
With Kasper, Soderblom, Mazur, Lombardi, Hanas up front, Edvinsson, Wallinder, Johansson, McIssac, Tuomisto on the blue line and potentially Lyon and Cossa in goal, this should be a very competitive AHL side.
