If I was sure his decline was injury related, I wouldn’t consider this as he is completely my kind of player and I would move him at the TDL if the season doesn’t go as hoped…

Devils decline. There's no room left on the roster and the cap space is better used on a goalie

I like it, well done. Would be fun to have a gritty leader like Toews on the team for a year or two before he retires. Like you said though, I think Guerin and Co. are banking on Foligno having a resurgent year after an injury-filled 22-23. I almost think they'd re-sign him for cheap again too, if he does bounce back and they don't trade him at the deadline.
