I wouldn’t mess with the chemistry with Caufield and Suzuki. We are building for future, even if Hoffman have 20 goal at the deadline, gm knows the players Mtl won’t get a haul of a return anyway. I like Anderson a lot and except if Mtl gets a incredible return i would keep him. Salary cap will goes up by a lot next couple season. He won’t hurt you that much. Gallagher contract is much worst in my opinion because their no room for him on the top 9 in a near future. I think he will have a strong 2023-24 season, he was so bang up since the covid. Now he have recovered from a broken hand, knee, tooth, he was much more like the Gallagher we know at the end of the year when he returned for the second time. I think if he play with Monahan all year he will be close to 20. I would try to built a chemistry with Dach and Newhook instead. This would gave Mtl 2 dynamic duo. Now you can put a Anderson or Hoffman to compliment those duo. And i would play monahan with Gallagher and Slafkowsky. Rhp evans and pezzetta ylonen 13 forward and Armia and Pitlck in Laval.
