Description

Gave Suter and Bear the same money but can split the total in any way that works.

Bear goes on LTIR to start the year, with Johnson and perhaps Malinski taking games to bridge the gap. In other words, Colorado has options and can very easily afford to wait for Bear to get healthy.

When Kovalenko comes over, Suter likely moves to 4C, Colton to 3C, Wood to 3LW, and Kovalenko takes the 3RW spot. That really solidifies the bottom six in a big way. Just gotta hope and pray that Drouin and RyJo can perform, which is obviously a gamble.

Colton wasn’t signed to play wing. When the GM signed him, he was quoted saying Colton was a “responsible, two way center”, center is there plan for him.

I don’t love the Bear signing and the fact he’s hurt. I personally don’t like the way you’ve got your D pairings setup either. I’ve said it a few times, this team has Hunt as a D option and that gets forgotten pretty often (if JJohnson isn’t your cup of tea)
