The bed was made last year, we get to lie in it this year. Really, the bed was made when the Bruins couldn't draft even one real top 6 C replacement candidate for over a decade. The Atlantic has a ton of parity this year, and as you point out the defense and goaltending is still about the same as last year, so there is still a decent chance they can get into the playoffs. But I don't expect them to make much noise there.
