Description
*Not a huge MTL fan so things could be off but, this is how I would run the lines.

I wish there was room for Farrell in this line up but I would have him, along with Armia as the 1st call ups.

I am also not a huge Primeau fan but maybe they choose to keep him over DeSmith...or maybe they opt not to have 3 goalies on the roster. Again, this is just what I would do.

Thoughts?

Not sure what the return would be but I assume they flip Petry before the season starts.

If they can start the season without using the Ltir they will.

Good call, didn't even look at that.

Roster will most likely look like that. I think that Heineman will make a push this season so would be surprise to see Evans or Dvorak being move and either Monahan or Newhook taking on third line duties.

Monty > Allen, honestly I hope KH finds a trade partner for Allen so long as we're not expected to pay to move him. I understand 3+ is way too much but if we eat a contract + retain we could get some minimal compensation anyway.

With how the last couple seasons went with injuries I'd leave 3 G's on the roster and rotate them as we see fit.

The lines are probably pretty close to start, MSL like to mix things up so this is a pretty good guess.

The LTIR aspect that was already pointed out, we either move salary to utilize the cost savings @ TDL or take another facilitation or cap dump for compensation and maximize on the 10.5 LTIR Price contract by being well over the cap prior to putting him LTIR pre-season.

As much as it seems like Petry is already on his way out, I have a feeling he is here this season and gone next. Earliest I can see him moving personally is TDL this year but hell, I've been wrong before... That being said I feel at the max retention we're allowed, Petry should bring back ~ a 2nd rounder.
