Based on his play I think he gets waived before the bonus kicks in. It was sort of like a 'tryout' contract -- if he really worked with McDavid then that bonus would probably be worth it, but since it hasn't then they can cut their losses.

Browns bonus would effect next years cap hit, not this years. Why did you create a 4 million spot for this year?

If Ken Holland had a spine he would make the business decision to waive Brown and call up Lavoie, but we shall see.
