Pat kane hasn't been good for years and is coming off an injury that just made nick Backstrom retire.

He is a God awful idea and is likely being forced upon us by our idiot owner who thinks it's a good idea and goof PR

I think the larger concern is from what little info has leaked, this isn't actually driven by a nutso owner. The GM and coach really want him. This is the reason for some of their inactivity at forward this summer. They genuinely think this guy will put them over the top. It'd be hilarious, if not for the fact that they were dead serious.
