Sorry, I just dont get it. I think the Abruezzese thing is such a bad rumor and Klingberg to CGY has no value.

Abruzzese is a 24 yr old, who's nice in the AHL, but even TOR wont call him up, they've tried steeves, robertson, mcmann and holmberg but not him. Its also hes nothing that CGY doesn;t lack: a middle sized forward 22-25 in the AHL. And if CGY takes Klingberg, its yet another dman (they might have 4 UFA dmen) to move at TDL, essentially flooding their own sellers market. Think back to what it took to get ROR last year (who was playing poorly, partially injured, not producing) and tell me that this offer is anywhere in the region.

CGY has Zary, duehr, popisisl, greer, rucizcka all on the big team, with coronato, honzek, stromgren, schwindt, pettersen in minors, all 20-24 yrs old, why would they want a 24 yr Abruezzese when they have so many like him already

I really doubt it, they're probably interested in the Leafs 1st, but not Klingberg, and I really doubt Abruzzese has much value to them when they have a dozen similar and 4-5 with much higher upsides.

I really question the "rumour" that has spawned dozens of Leaf acquiring a good player for a UFA dman they want rid of and a never was prospect
