Description

This team has way too many bottom 4 dmen coming up in the system and middle 6 forwards. If possible they should trade that for some quality. I think they’ll pick in the 4-6 range where they could pick up Lindstrom, being a “big horse” I’m sure the habs scouting staff loves him. I think they should move Matheson this summer or next to get some quality assets back and open up a spot for someone like Mailloux. I think they should learn their lesson with Anderson, trade the player when their value is high. I think Liane could round out the top 6 nicely and give the Habs another goal scorer if the Jackets decide he could use a change of scenery. If the Habs look something like this in 2-3 years how competitive do you think they will be ?

Montreal really has no reason to do that, he makes way more then he is worth (same points per game as Guhle and a tiny bit more then Gallagher and would make by far the most out of any active player on the team.) Also Montreal has no incentive to buy at the moment so it would have to be a good deal for them to do it, which this is very not.
