No from Winnipeg on the Walker trade. The Jets don't need bottom pairing defensemen, so no need to overpay for another one.

Stamkos doesn't waive for Winnipeg.

There's no reason for Winnipeg to retain on Schmidt, add to him and give him away for nothing.

im not so sure stamkos wouldnt waive to winnipeg, he has stated that he really values his privacy and likes small market teams and them being not within the atlantic division and being a contender, I think it is possible but probably not likely

Yeah, I'd believe it when I see it. I can't think of one star player that has ever agreed to waive their trade protection to go to Winnipeg. So it would be a first.
