Because obviously they are that eager to get rid of Campbell AND get a LW who probably doesn’t resign there, not to mention Shea who cleared waivers but somehow has positive trade value! Who wouldn’t take such a steal!!?!?

I mean to be honest i'd take a trade where the penguins send either Jarry or Ned to EDM for Campbell and get a 1st + coming back (this is only if the team goes full rebuild).

This trade tho... no lol. EDM Would laugh

Jarry for Campbell required a 1st and 2nd. If I’m them I just buyout Campbell this summer.

I can't see them buying him out. The need every cent they can have to try and build a team the next two seasons before McDavid's contract is up. They don't have room for retained or dead cap imo
