Way too much for Saros without an extension, and even with an extension that's pushing it

Detroit says done deal, I'd be surprised if we even got a 4th rd pick for Olli Maatta.

If Nashville retains on Saros they'll have no retention spots for this year and the next. I think Trenin at the deadline could fetch a 2nd himself, so it's Casey, Holtz and Vanecek for Saros reatined. Casey and Holtz are nice pieces but Nashville has a lot of young wings coming up through milwaukee and already playing in Nashville. So I don't know if Holtz is the right piece to be a part of this deal. Casey is for sure someone Nashville would target, but I've gotta think they'd rather have a 1st, a couple of other picks or a center prospect

Predators might get one of Holtz and Casey in a Saros trade, but certainly not both of them.
Devils shouldn't go anywhere near your suggested Saros trade.

I could get behind the idea of bringing Määttä in but rather have Gostisbehere if the Devils trade with Detroit.
