As the rest of the league ages, and this core grows into its manhood... I am a typical F'g leaf fan that hated the idea of 11.5 and now its done and I'm like... meh its not so bad... I know what I am... hate me all you want...

Liljegren since coming back has like 7 points in 10 games. His ice time has increased to second on the tea. His play is steadily improving while he has yet to reach his potential.
He has he potential full ceiling of top 2, will most likely settle as a top 4 defenseman.
No way Toronto accepts a 3rd when they traded sanding for a 1st last year. It would be a 1 st at a minimum

Very fair point. I was mostly thinking I think he gets dealt as some sort of package in the next year or so. I think they move him and Tre goes after some BIG TIME D in the next two years

Considering how the cap is rising in next couple years and liljegren can sign a bridge deal of about just under 3 million for a few years. I don't think a trade is imminent unless he is part of the package for such a D.

I'm just shocked to see a Toronto fan undervaluing one of their players versus overvaluing him.

Liljegren is equal and on par with Makar!

Future Norris perennial winner....

LOL

Ironically I am a Leafs fan. I try to be realistic with value though.
