    Niemela isn't ready for a top 4 role yet. He hasn't even cracked the NHL.

    Not sure Minten can center a 3rd line yet. He'll be 20 when next season starts.

    Tree will likely bring Domi back.

    I'd keep Reaves in the AHL and get his mil plus cap coupon.

    I agree, but even with this lineup, guys like minten/robertson/niemala have to hit to make it work capwise.

    And while bringing domi back over bertuzzi saves some money, not much as I think domi gets 4.5 or so from somebody

    I think Domi will take less to stay in Toronto. By that I mean less than what other teams will offer. He'll still get 3 mil at least.

    Hope is not a plan. At least it shouldn't be. Ideally you hope your prospects all hit but that's not realistic.

    It's why aging vets get signed to 1 year deals.
