Brouwer has a modified no trade clause so he would have to agree to be sent down... Not going to happen... We eat the contract until we can stomach the buyout...

A MNT clause is not a no move clause. He could be sent to the minors but cannot be traded without permission. Moving him to the minors keeps him within the Flames organization.
