I don't think so honestly say he ends the season with 15 points, no way management gives him 2.4m

They’re not gonna lowball him and create friction. Hell just ask to be traded and another team will give him his qualifying offer of $2.4m

They have to offer it to him or he can become an UFA.see Carter Verheaghe leaves ng TB for Florida If I were he I'd go with the 1 year deal let's see 1 year 2.4 or 3 years 5.25. if he forces the QO his next QO would be 2.8 meaning he makes basically in 2 years what you want him to take in 3 GLWT
