Hmm being Buffalo has been voted least desirable place to play by the NHLPA multiple times I highly doubt they're one of the 10 teams on his list. He's still playing at a well above NHL average trading him. In the last decade show me one defenseman not named Anton Stralman 5'11" 193lbs who was both under 6' & 200 lbs . No chance they're signing Grzelcyk 5'9" 174lbs. Perbix is worth at least a 3.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RecycleShark</b></div><div>This article said that Cernak is TB's worst contract:
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10116169-the-worst-contracts-on-every-nhl-team-for-the-2023-24-season
This article suggested that Chicago could get Cernak for a 3rd
https://thehockeywriters.com/lightning-blackhawks-could-be-trade-deadline-partners-again/
I thought about just offering a 3rd for Cernak, but I needed to move a RD to make room for him and I figured Rutta had some value, plus a good past relationship with TB and Hedman.
Cernak is clearly better than Rutta (which is why the Sharks would do this), but from the articles I read it appeared that TB might need to trade Cernak for cap reasons.</div></div>
Show me one time with the cap hell TB has been involved with when they signed a player for 6 or more years and traded them within 2 years? Don't waste your time it hasn't happened under this ownership.it isn't how TB operates.

Actually it needs Vasilevskiy and Sergachev to play the entire year. Next year Sergachev healthy the left side of Hedman, Sergachev, and Lilleberg is very good the right side is better than given credit especially if Crozier is up.

No they don't get traded 100% you jcan just keep lying to yourself. You're a buffoon and this conversation is done when someone is either too stupid to see fact or stubborn to agree there is no sense talking to a buffoon . Have a nice life.

Would Philly do this
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ujeje</b></div><div>Don't let that "playoff hunt" fool you. The only reason for that is Devils, Sabres, Pens and even Sens underperforming. It was a competition for least bad team to make playoffs, not actually being good to earn a spot.
And yes I'm aware they would have made it without Hart thing, or if their PP would have been even a bit below average, not dead worst (again).
And about that trade, Flyers wouldn't do it. If they are trading TK or Laughton, it would be to bolster their prospect pool/to get younger players. Not to trade someone who's halfway in his contract close to ~30 year old making 12M/year when they are supposed to be competitive.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gunmars</b></div><div>Jones and Briere both said the standings do not matter. They are committed to this rebuild for another 2 years.</div></div>
Yeah because no GM or president of hockey has ever lied in a presser.🙄. Would they make that as I said earlier I'm not sure, but to completely rule it out nope.

Marner doesn’t help them long term because he will be more than halfway through a new contract by the time the flyers are even ready to compete</div></div>
Not sure I agree. They were in the playoff hunt until game 82 for them

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GM69</b></div><div>Toronto has officially taken the tile away from NYR.. they are currently at 56 years since their last cup (the 1966-67 season).
Buffalo is at 53 now, if Vancouver doesn't win they'll be at 53 as well. It was the islanders fans that started the chant, and they're currently at 40 years, I could definitely see a revenge of the 'Forty' chant if they play in the 2nd round.</div></div>
That doesn't mean NYR all of a sudden will win more often because Toronto holds the records for longest loser. To quote Ricky Bobby from Talladega nights " 2nd place is the first loser." " If you ain't first you're last"
