Drury should be fired if he trades a 1st for Dowd, I dont care if it is his market value.

Columbus might accept, but likely opts to just keep Danforth (a good utility guy already extended through next year, probably a TDL 2025 move) and Blanks (who's pretty well liked, replacement level at best, and doesn't return much) rather than move them for 5 darts that don't have a good chance at reaching the NHL.

Not really. He's one of the best 4Cs @650k for 100+ games, much better than senko floating for 40 games. Next year we need depth Fs and nobody wants to sign and live in NY for under 1m unless it's a Bonino or Wheeler. Sure it would be nice to get a C for a 2nd, but Dowd next year @650k is very helpful

Thats why you trade for Sissons. He will be a mainstay at 3C for 2 more years. His cap hit is very nice, and his all around game and production would be much needed.

2.9m is too much for him or Laughton. Not much of an improvement to what we have. Would rather the cheaper guys in description like Trenin...
