I would be surprised if Nashville would accept that deal. Carrier is pretty valuable to their blue line, any deal would need to be an overpay.

On the other hand, AZ has fallen into sell mode. Dumba would fill in nicely in a RHD 2/3 position and add the physicality that VAN could use. Pretty sure you could delete Bjugstad and add Dumba with that same deal and AZ would accept. There are other options out there for a decent 4th line center, Bjugstad fits better as a middle six guy.

Carrier is going to be dealt this year for sure. Sawyer Mynio is a quality prospect and is lighting it up in the WHL still as an 18 year old. The Canucks are very high on him, and basically chose to keep him over Brzustewicz in the Lindholm deal. I would hate to see Vancouver do this if Carrier is just going to be a rental. It makes way more sense to sign him if you're giving up those assets.
