So Mantha for a 2 and 3 at 2.85 M when they can get Jake at 3 M for a 1st and a couple young players? That’s like taking a Mitsubishi Eclipse at “half price” over a Ferrari at a price point that’s about 1/3 of its real value.

Dumbest logic ever. The cap hit is similar not the cost to acquire lol. Penguin likely want 1st (2) high end prospects and a roster player. Not to mention Guentzel has shown to be mid AF away form Sid and Geno

Mantha is not good. Jake is a ppg player without Sid and barely plays with Malkin. A 2nd for Mantha is highway robbery.
