I would personally shelter Nash on the third line and give Vessey more time in a top 6 role to see if he can handle it. Staal and Fast with a second or first should be packaged together to get a prospect back and free up cap space. Other then that I agree with you. Rangers never seem to play the right people.

Because AV is a terrible personnel coach. He's got a great system, but never uses the right players to maximize the efficiency of it. Typical AV to hit the panic button in game 3 and bench his rookie C (Chytil) and effectively bench his young puck moving d-man (DeAngelo)

Take away two toys in Girardi and Glass, and he still manages to play with Staal, Holden, and now Kampfer. AV needs to go, he's done enough damage. Staal is a pylon that McDonagh shouldn't be shackled with. Holden is absolute garbage. He pinches at the worst times, snow angels in the worst possible ways, holds on to the puck far too long behind the goal line because he doesn't think quickly enough to do something smart with it. They should have traded him when his value was at an all-time high after scoring so many points last season. Kampfer actually looked average tonight and wasn't absolute garbage, but he's not a #6 in any long-term capacity. What pisses me off as a fan is that AV get's rewarded for his stupidity with a win that Hank stood on his head for, and AV is so smarmy that he'll think it's his doing for the lineup changes and he'll continue with this until the end of time. Sorry, rant over. I agree with most of the lineup, save for Holden. He should be stuffed in a cannon and fired back to Colorado. No wonder Patrick Roy is out of a job, he said Holden was one of his best defensemen. He can judge talent about as well as AV can.
