That's a lot of useless player. You haven't made the team better, so why bother? In fact it may be worse. Pickard > Driedger, your defense is definitely more porous.

Adding a 2RW doesn't make the team better? How do you have Pickard over Driedger? You can't actually expect Skinner & Pickard to be your answer this year.. And is Schultz really that much more porous than Desharnais? I mean I sheltered him on the 3rd pair here so it's not like he'd have the tough assignments?

Eberle isn't a top-6 winger on a contender. Likewise Carrier and Schultz are not top-4 defenders on a contender.

Driedger is an AHL goalie. Edmonton has two good AHL goalie already.
