Contract in, contract out, Buffalo do EJ a solid and maintain a good rep with players and pick up a bonus pick and not have to retain anything. EJ knows how the Avs work, provides depth D and leadership. Figured it probably works for both teams.

Idk that we’re interested in anything other than the pick,
but some sort of deal to send EJ back to the Avs certainly seems possible

flyers decline, they are not moving draft picks

frost also highly highly unlikely to be moved, he is one of two centers who can play at top 6 level and the other is currently broken

Considering the Flyers are still likely to be in sell mode according to most reports, Frost's name being in rumours most of the season plus, and them rumoured to having had interest in Byram when moving Cutter, I think Frost being moved is absolutely a possibility. May or may not happen, but very possible. I can understand the thinking they wouldn't be keen to move a 1st however, but if you want quality you have to pay for it. Also, if one of the two Cs is 'broken' then the wheels will likely fall off if Walker and Seeler are traded too so the Flyers would move into full sell mode.
