Description

Geekie as a top 6 Center. He looks great whenever he plays with Pastrnak, and that's partially because Pasta is great player to play with, but I think Geekie is the kind of center Pasta needs. Big, creates space, can play netfront, and has good burst speed. There's no real #1 on the market next year, but there is the year after that. This team will be built largely the same next year: stud goaltending as the focus, and some top tier talents on offense and defense. Play the same game, get the young guys more experience, move ahead to the future in 2025.

Depends. If he pans out, he's your other option at 2C. Geekie takes 3C and Coyle goes to the wing, or they switch back and forth. It would be a welcome miracle if both Poitras and Geekie turn into viable top 6 players, and I don't see the the Bruins passing on the chance to sign a guy like Draisatil or even Tavares or Nelson.
