Philly is in the middle of a playoff race. Why would they give up one of their best forwards for a UFA unfamiliar with the team and futures?!?

Because they are supposed to be rebuilding. They claim to be willing to listen on anyone…even TK as crazy as that sounds. They’re rebuilding around Michkov, and TK is already 27. Cash out while his value is high.

That being said this offer isn’t getting him. Looking at Knies, Cowan and the first to even keep Briere on the phone. He’d probably want more.
