Definitely wouldn't hurt to have a solid veteran backup although he has been pretty bad this year

Yeah but at this point I think a #3 goalie is better than nothing. Also I wonder if he'd do better in the powerhouse of Colorado's D system. He'd also cost nothing

Carolina probably has the best D system in the nhl.

Do you think they re-sign both Skjei and Pesce? I imagine they want Nikishin to come in soon so maybe that's the end of the line for Skjei with Carolina, right?
